Donate Food for Urban Ministry Food Bags
Western Boulevard Presbyterian donates 25 food bags each month. Currently the Wednesday Morning Bible Study groups assembles these bags the third or fourth Wednesday of each month. Please help by providing needed food for these bags. The food goes to families who are having trouble buying enough food to feed their family. This is a very needed ministry so please help by donating some of these items.
Each bag contains the following items:
2 cans beans(green, black, red, white, etc)
2 cans tomatoes
1 can carrots
2 cans fruit or jar applesauce
2 boxes macaroni and cheese
1 pound bag dried beans
1 pound rice
1 pound grits
Powdered milk = 1 quart
tuna or other canned meat
peanut butter
cereal
Urban ministries can also use canned soups, pasta, and other canned meal items.
