Youth
Sunday School
There are two Sunday school classes for youth, middle school and high school students. Both classes meet in the lower level of the church during the normal Sunday school hour (9:30AM Sunday Mornings)
Confirmation Class
A nine month Confirmation Class is offered in three year grouping on Sunday mornings for our 6th – 8th grade youth, based on demand. During this time, the youth explore what it means to profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and join the church.
Youth Fellowship
Western Blvd’s youth group meets Sunday Evenings from 5:30 PM until about 7:00 PM. The group is made up of Middle and High school students. Youth group meetings usually include a short program, and dinner.
Over the course of a year, the youth participate in worship, service, fellowship and fun. Topics relevant to the lives of the youth are incorporated into the Sunday night programs and discussions.
Retreats and Mission Trips
The youth of the church participate in events such as the Montreat Youth Conference,Masanetta Middle School Conference, service projects, Presbytery retreats and mission trips For pictures of the Gulfport trip, click here.
