Worship and Music

Service Times

Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary and 5 p.m. via Zoom

Holy Communion is observed the first Sunday of every month. Nursery care is provided.

Morning Worship Service

The traditional worship service is held in the Sanctuary with our pastor  leading the service. In a typical worship service, we participate in a variety of activities that together make up our response to God’s call in our lives. We praise God through our singing, we confess our sins, we hear the word of God proclaimed, we affirm our faith, we pray, and we express our gratitude for all of God’s gifts through our tithes and offerings.

Our worship services follow the liturgical calendar, and we have special Sunday services on holy days in the Church including Easter Sunday, Pentecost Sunday, and Advent Sundays.  In addition, we hold worship services on the following days:

  • Christmas Eve
  • Ash Wednesday
  • Maundy Thursday
  • Easter Sunday Sunrise
  • Thanksgiving (usually held the Sunday evening before Thanksgiving day)
  • Hanging of Greens Service

Children's Chapel

Godly Play provides a special opportunity for children ages 4-2nd grade to experience the Holy Spirit through stories and music. Godly Play meets following the Children’s message during morning Worship.  Children will remain with their parents to observe Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. Children who are ages 4 through second grade are encouraged to be part of the Children’s Chapel service.

Childcare is provided for infants and toddlers during the worship services.

@The Table Service (informal)

At this time, the @The Table Service at Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church is held every Sunday evening at 5:00pm on Zoom. The vision of this worship experience is a gathering reflecting the image of the feast at the Kingdom Table. Come and join us for a heart-lifting, Spirit-filled time in song, worship and praise!

The service is designed to honor Jesus Christ through biblical teaching, reformed theology, prayer and a variety of musical styles. God’s message is delivered through spoken word as well as visual media, and other modes that encourage everyone to be a part of the service.

If you’d like to participate, contact the church office (admin@wbpresbyterian.org) or our pastor (frank@wbpresbyterian.org) for the Zoom link. We’d love to see you there!
